What do you do when your parents are Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, and they’re about to star in Yellowstone: 1883? Break out the ‘Western bathroom wear!’
As many an Outsider knows, Tim McGraw & Faith Hill have been together for a lifetime. The couple married in 1996, and have three children together – all daughters! The youngest is Audrey, with Maggie in the middle and Gracie, now 24, as their eldest.
It should come as no surprise, either, that Gracie McGraw is following in her parents’ footsteps. She’s performed on stage with her father in Nashville, and the two often collaborate at home; sometimes sharing the results with fans.
“We’re so proud of our daughters because the world that they grew up in, it can easily make the kids turn out differently,” Tim McGraw told Hoda Kotb on TODAY with Hoda & Jenna back in 2019. “Our girls are so grounded, they’re so humble.”
Tuesday, Gracie is showing off some of that humble humor with her perfectly simple caption: “Western bathroom wear.” The three words say everything about the gorgeous photo she’s sharing along with:
“They have such big hearts, and they work hard at the things that they want to accomplish… We’re really proud of them,” Mcgraw continues of himself and wife Faith Hill. “We couldn’t ask for better kids. They’re smarter than us in so many ways.”
Over on her official Instagram, Gracie herself keeps fans up to speed on her own aspirations.
“Broadway makes me very happy and I hope to be there one day,” she wrote in a caption for a Wicked vocal performance last year. “This is practice for me. The only way to get better is to do it multiple times honey!! Elphie is definitely another dream role for me.”
Gracie’s Parents, Tim McGraw & Faith Hill, Gear Up to Headline Next ‘Yellowstone’ Show
Keep chasing those dreams, Gracie! Fans are 100% behind you. Major kudos to the young lady for carving out her own legacy, and not relying on her megastar parents to do it for her.
And we say this with love, as Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are as big-hearted as country stars come. We Outsiders are firmly in camp TimFaith. Which made this month’s incredible shock Yellowstone announcement all the sweeter.
In case you haven’t heard, Gracie’s dad is chasing his dreams, too. A “dream job,” in fact, according to the man himself. That’s right, Tim McGraw has been cast as the lead in the first Yellowstone spinoff show – historic prequel Yellowstone: 1883!
“This is truly a dream job,” Tim McGraw said recently of his casting as part of 1883. “Taylor (Sheridan) has found a way of storytelling that brilliantly creates these epic dramas and family sagas with so much depth and creativity.”
“The Duttons are tremendous characters, and it’s so thrilling to be able to bring them to life,” the country icon adds. “As a kid growing up riding horses, you think about dream jobs like this, and I am just so excited to work with this amazing cast and crew.”
Well said, sir Tim McGraw. Hopefully, Gracie’s as proud of you as you are of her!
