To celebrate International Women’s Day, Tim McGraw shouted out the women in his life earlier today. In one cute and candid Instagram post, McGraw spread the love to the women in his life who mean so much to him. He surely has plenty of females in his professional career who have helped him and mean a lot to him. However, his immediate family consists of four women who mean the world to him and more.
“International Women’s Day,” Tim McGraw wrote in his Instagram post. “For all the women in my life who are the heart and soul of all I do…… And the backbone.”
While women like Dolly Parton, Reba McIntyre, and Patsy Cline certainly feel like the heart and soul of country music, Tim McGraw’s girls are definitely his backbone. He has taken to social media fairly often to gas up the girls in his life. For instance, on Valentine’s Day, McGraw posted a video montage featuring short clips from his and Faith Hill’s 25 plus year relationship. He captioned the post, “The best girl for me ever, the best mom, the best wife, the best lover. My best friend…. “
Tim McGraw has also opened up about his three daughters, Gracie McGraw, Maggie McGraw, and Audrey McGraw. In a recent interview, he discussed how it felt to watch his daughters grow up. With the youngest, Audrey, at nineteen years old, McGraw and Hill have all but completed the largest part of their parenthood. McGraw revealed that the experience is “a beautiful thing, but it’s a sad thing at the same time.”
The Women in Tim McGraw’s Life
From his grandmother down to his mother, and now his wife Faith Hill and his three children, women really are the backbone of Tim McGraw’s life. Not just on International Women’s Day, but often Tim will open up about his appreciation for the women in his life. For instance, his mother was the one who initially told him to move to Nashville.
“My Mom, the first words out of her mouth were ‘I’m surprised you haven’t done it already,'” Tim McGraw explained the phone call he had with his mother before deciding to move to Nashville. “And then she said, ‘Tim, you should do it, because if you don’t do it, then you’ll always wonder if you could’ve made it.'”
He has also commented on his grandmother’s inspiration to him… in the cooking department. Recently, he showed off some pictures of his grandmother’s best recipes. The hot milk cake he made looked pretty delicious, too.
