Tim McGraw Sharing His Favorite Football Gameday Songs

Legendary Country Music artist Tim McGraw says he “lives for football” and wants to share his favorite tailgate tunes with his fans. On Saturday McGraw took to social media to share with his fans he will be “taking over” Spotify’s Tailgate Party Playlist.

“Taking over @spotify’s Tailgate Party playlist for gameday,” he says. “Y’all turn it up! Thanks for adding the new song with @midand.”

In the video attached to the Instagram post, McGraw says he will selecting music especially for the college football season.

“Hey it’s Tim McGraw and you all know how much I live for college football,” he says. “I’m taking over Spotify’s tailgate party playlist. I’m sharing my favorite songs for gameday so check it out.”

Spotify is a Swedish-based audio streaming and media services provider launched in 2008. It is immensely popular among music lovers who like music selections from different genres. Spotify offers digital copyright restricted  recorded music and podcasts, including more than 60 million songs, from record labels and media companies, according to its website.

McGraw Helps With NFL Draft

The singer often speaks of his passion for collegiate and professional football. He was part owner of the Nashville Kats, an arena football team in Nashville that played from 2005 to 2007. Mcgraw was also very involved in the 2019 NFL Draft that took place in Downtown Nashville in April of that year. He even performed a free show in downtown Nashville the weekend that the NFL Draft was in town, according to Country 102.5.

Mcgraw took to Instagram to express thanks to the NFL for involving him in draft activities. He also thanks the Tennessee Titans for their help with promotional work. With the post, he includes a photo of himself with Tennessee Titans Head Coach Mike Vrabel.
