It would be tough to find a country music artist with more adoration from a fan base than “Don’t Take the Girl” singer Tim McGraw.

Aside from his extensive and celebrated music catalog, McGraw is also beloved for his interest in interacting with his fans. He often uses social media to spread cheer, tell a joke or just say hello on his various accounts. He also uses social media as a tool to share an inspirational message or recently taken photographs. On Sunday, he did both of those things, taking to Instagram to put out some positive energy at a time when it is needed most.

“Light always follows darkness,” he writes in the post’s caption space. “I love the promise of a sunrise and the reminder of hope it brings. A new dawn, a new opportunity. Hope y’all have a good Sunday.”

Along with the inspiring message he includes a wonderful photo of the sun peaking just over the top of the horizon.

McGraw is extremely popular on social media with nearly 3 million followers on Instagram alone. Only an hour after going live, the post drew more than 10,000 likes on Instagram along with hundreds of comments and reposts.

Tim McGraw and Tyler Hubbard Team Up for New Song

McGraw is the talk of the country music world as his new hit song “Undivided” is doing quite well. McGraw recorded the song with fellow country star and Florida Georgia Line singer Tyler Hubbard. The two well-known artists have used their large social media followings to promote the song. Both of them put up several photos and videos from their recording sessions for their fans to enjoy. The song was released earlier this week after multiple teases from both singers, including this video on McGraw’s Instagram account.

“When we gonna start to see from someone’s eyes?” McGraw says in the post. “#UNDIVIDED with Tyler Hubbard out at midnight!”

Hubbard says the song is a call for unity during these trying times that we are currently facing. He says recent events in the nation’s capitol remind him just how much the country need to unite.

“It felt like a message I wanted to say and felt like needed to be heard,” he says. “Not only by the fans but even by myself. I think it was something that was a reminder to me.”
