Trace Adkins Passionately Explains How Wife Victoria ‘Rejuvenated’ His Life

by Katie Maloney

Trace Adkins is a well-loved man in the country music industry.

He’s known as a smooth-talking bad boy of country music. And his number one hit songs speak to that reputation. The country music star has released four number one hit songs including “(This Ain’t) No Thinkin’ Thing”, “Ladies Love Country Boys”, “You’re Gonna Miss This” and “Hillbilly Bone.” He also released the infamous hit “Honkytonk Badonkadonk.” In conclusion, it’s difficult not to love Trace Adkins.

However, there’s one woman who loves him best and that is his wife Victoria Pratt. The couple reportedly met on the set of “The Virginian” in 2014 movie when they were both working in the movie. Five years later, in 2019, they were married.

Pratt is originally from Chelsey, Ontario, Canada and she works as a fitness model. Although the honeymoon phase is over, Trace Adkins still seems to be head over heels for his wife. During an interview with People, Akdins shared how his wife inspires him.

“I can’t even begin to explain what a difference she’s made in my life,” Adkins said.

Adkins then opened up about how Victoria “rejuvenated” him.

“She rejuvenated me and inspired me to take whatever time I have left and make the most of it,” said Adkins. “…and then just make the best music that I can make.”

Adkins was quick to add that his musical talents have soared since meeting his wife.

“I can’t take all the credit,” Adkins said. “She’s my muse.”

Blake Shelton Officiated Trace Adkins and Victoria Pratt’s Wedding

Obviously, both Trace Adkins and Blake Shelton are country music icons. But, did you know they are also close friends? It all started when the two collaborated for the number one hit song, “Hillbilly Bone.” The two even won an ACM Award for Vocal Event of the Year. However, the song wasn’t just a big career hit for the duo, it also sparked a long-lasting bromance between the two artists. Adkins and Shelton teamed up again in 2019 to release the song, “Hell Right”.

During an interview in 2019, Shelton shared what he admired about Trace Adkins.

“He’s got that low, deep, big voice, and he’s so great at the ad-lib stuff. And he just brings a certain quality to any recording that nobody else can touch,” said Shelton. “I mean, the guy’s got so much personality in his voice and the way he sings, and I still think that he’s one of the most underrated country artists out there.”

The two have also toured and performed together. Blake Shelton even brought Adkins to the set of “The Voice” to act as his Battle Rounds advisor in 2018. And if that wasn’t enough, Trace Adkins was also the man to bestow the highest honor a country artist can receive to Shelton. In 2010, Adkins was the guy who invited Shelton to join the Grand Ole Opry.
