How Much of an Effect Did COVID-19 Really Have on Travis Tritt?

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a huge effect on country musician, Travis Tritt. In October, he announced he will no longer be touring in venues with vaccine mandates.

For example, he canceled four stops in Indiana, Mississippi, Illinois, and Kentucky on his fall tour. This is because he felt the venues discriminate against people attending concerts. Tritt does not want to perform at the venues where fans are turned away for being unvaccinated.

He feels the need to stick up for his fans by going against the mandates put in place by venues and local authorities.

“I felt like I had to stand up for freedom; freedom for all of those people to be able to go out and do what they enjoy doing and enjoy a concert without being harassed,” he mentions in an interview with the Los Angeles Times.

He makes sure Billboard knows that he’s not against the vaccine, but is against forcing people away from his shows.

Fortunately, his words have motivated organizers like Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival to open up their events to people who provide a negative COVID-19 test.

Upcoming Shows

Travis Tritt has a few more performances this month until he starts his tour back up in January. He will be at the Carl Perkins Civic Center in Jackson, Tennessee on January 13, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. Following this show, he will be performing until May 13, but I’m positive more shows will be added for fans to attend.

Concert tickets are on sale now starting at $38.
