For superstar singer and songwriter Travis Tritt and his family, country music is a way of life and a right of passage.

The ultra talented Tritt family has more than just one country artist gathering acclaim and fan support. Travis Tritt’s first born child and only daughter, Tyler Tritt, is also working her way up the country music ranks. She could eventually join her father atop the list of successful country music artists.

Tyler Tritt is celebrating her 23rd birthday today (Thursday, Feb. 18) and her proud papa is wishing her a great day. Travis took to social media on Thursday to post a moving tribute to his eldest child and “baby girl.”

“Wishing the happiest of birthday to my only daughter and firstborn child Tyler Reese Tritt,” Travis says in the post. “I’m still amazed at how this baby girl wrapped herself around my heart from the moment she was born.”

Like her father, Tyler is a natural in front of a microphone and on a lighted stage. She performs with her father quite often, dating back to Father’s Day 2013 when the two put out a duet. Since then she has been honing her singing skills as she looks to breakout into the country music industry. Travis says he could not be more proud of the woman his little girl has become.

“I’m so pleased with the young woman she has become,” he continues in his Instagram post. “So beautiful! So talented! So funny! No matter how old, she will always be my baby girl. Love always from a very proud daddy.”

The country star includes a photo of himself and Tyler in his social media post. Travis has a large social media following with more than 247,000 followers on Instagram alone. His post drew more than 2,600 “likes” along with hundreds of comments. Some Travis Tritt fans used the comments section to wish Tyler a happy birthday and future success in her country career.

Travis Tritt celebrated his own birthday just a few weeks ago, posting a photo of himself with his family. The singer turned 58-years old on February 9.
