Travis Tritt and Cody Jinx—two country singing greats—took the stage in Austin, Texas, this weekend. And Tritt told the world about the sold-out event on Twitter.
Country artist Cody Jinx is really building himself an amazing music career. He is a bit of an outlier in Music City, but true country fans know his name. The Same Kind of Crazy as Me artist has been in the business since 2006. But it wasn’t until 2016 that he started getting the credit he deserves. When Jinx dropped his record, I’m Not the Devil. That year, it reached number four on Billboard’s Country Charts. Then in 2018, he released Lifers, which rose all the way to number two on the charts.
And now he’s playing sold-out concerts with legendary country crooners. This weekend he took the stage with Travis Tritt. And Tritt thought playing with 40-year-old Jinx was an honor. Tritt has such a great time that he posted about it on Twitter.
Such an absolute pleasure to finally get to play a SOLD OUT show with @CodyJinksMusic in Austin, TX! The crowd could not have been more welcoming and Cody and his crew could not have been any nicer to us. God bless y’all for allowing us to entertain you. pic.twitter.com/NeyH0j7XuC

“Such an absolute pleasure to finally get to play a SOLD OUT show with @CodyJinksMusic in Austin, TX!” he wrote alongside four photos. “The crowd could not have been more welcoming and Cody and his crew could not have been any nicer to us. God bless y’all for allowing us to entertain you.”
Travis Tritt Played in Font of an Impressive Houston Crowd Before Taking the Stage with Cody Jinx
Travis Tritt is currently in the midst of a year-long international tour. The Nothing Short of Dying singer has been releasing records for over three decades. And his fame hasn’t even begun to fade. In fact, his popularity was proven on Friday (September 24th) when he played in The Woodlands, TX, just outside of Houston.
Tritt was so honored by the event’s turnout that he hopped on Twitter to thank his fans.
Thanks, Houston! You were wonderful! pic.twitter.com/vZJtqUX1wd

“Thanks, Houston! You were wonderful!” he wrote. Along with his words, he posted a few pictures from the concert. And the view from the stage shows a crowd that extends further than our eyes can see. By the looks of it, we’re assuming the concert was sold out.
Travis Tritt isn’t the only 90s singer who is loved by a new generation of fans either. Stars like Reba McEntire, Brooks & Dunn, and Garth Brooks are some of the most relevant musicians in today’s industry. And their fame gives us hope because it proves that people still know good music.
