Halloween boasts plenty of spooky traditions to pick from. You can go bobbing for apples or maybe even carve a pumpkin or two. We put together this playlist to bump while you’re at it. Still, you might be wondering what your favorite country stars are up to and how they’re celebrating this year. Brittany and Jason Aldean put together a pretty solid couple’s costume as Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton that might be hard to beat. What about the iconic duo Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks, though?

While they haven’t revealed their couple’s costume yet, Trisha did show off their pup squad’s adorable ensemble for Halloween. There aren’t any tricks here, but these fur babies deserve all the treats. Check them out:

Getting to Know Trisha Yearwood’s Rescue Dogs

In an Instagram post from National Dog Day on August 26th, Trisha Yearwood paid tribute to the two pups that “rescued my heart.” Their names? Millie and Emmy. They’ve both been part of Yearwood and Brooks’ pack for years now, with Emmy joining the couple in 2013 and Millie joining later in 2018. Apparently, Yearwood actually found Emmy wandering down an Oklahoma road and decided to rescue her. Millie joined the family through a more formal adoption process later.

Actually, raising the two rescues even inspired Yearwood to start her own Pet Collection that shares a namesake with the star. “My dogs are indoor-outdoor dogs. They will dig around and roll in things. I want them to enjoy their lives,” Yearwood said in a past interview. She also discussed the bigger picture and how she hopes the business venture will spread some good.

“I hope that this pet line will give me the opportunity to help more shelters and rescue animals and have the chance to educate others about the importance of spaying/neutering your pet and pet adoption. Animals that you rescue, there is just nothing like them. It’s such a wonderful gift. It’s unconditional love.”

Garth Brooks Talks About Her Biggest Pet Peeves

When you’ve been married as long as Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood, it’s only natural that some pet peeves pop up. That’s especially true of the early quarantine days that forced many couples across the country to spend some extra quality time together.

“I don’t think there’s anything that I learned that I didn’t already know,” said Yearwood in a past interview. Garth Brooks also revealed the one thing that seems to drive Yearwood crazy.

“I whistle everywhere I go… and it drives her absolutely nuts and she’s been so sweet to put up with it,” he said.
