This morning, the Turnpike Troubadours took to social media to let fans know that they’ll be hitting the road in April. First, they’ll have a two-night stand at the legendary Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Then, they’ll head south of the Red River to play two nights at Billy Bob’s in Fort Worth, Texas.

They cap off the newly-announced dates with one night at Floore’s Country Store in Helotes, Texas. Then, they’ll be heading to Colorado to play their previously-announced two nights at Red Rocks.

In the post’s caption, the Turnpike Troubadours said, “Announcing our first three weekends of 2022. These shows will be held at venues very close to our hearts.”

They picked the perfect venue for their first show back after the hiatus. Cain’s Ballroom is the venue for good country music in Oklahoma. It’s kind of like the Ryman Auditorium of the Sooner State. Cain’s is also packed to the gills with history that goes back longer than performers who take its stage these days have been alive. For instance, Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys laid the foundations of their legacy there in the early-to-mid 1930s. Now, the Turnpike Troubadours are adding to the dense lore of the venue.

Make no mistake, playing Billy Bobs and Floore’s is still a big deal. That Cain’s Ballroom show, though, will be electric.

Turnpike Troubadours Tickets

When the Turnpike Troubadours announced their Red Rocks show in November, tickets sold fast. However, not many of those tickets went to fans. Instead, scalpers used bots to buy a huge chunk of the tickets. Then, they sold them at a huge markup. This made the band decide to add a second night to their Colorado trip. Additionally, they started working with ticket sellers to make things right. This go-round, they’re hoping to avoid all of that.

In the post, they noted that Cain’s Ballroom will have a four-ticket-per-person limit. Additionally, they won’t offer digital tickets. Concertgoers will either have to get their tickets shipped to them or pick them up at the venue. Additionally, Billy Bob’s and Floore’s will both have a 6-ticket limit. Hopefully, this will let more fans who have been anxiously waiting to see the Turnpike Troubadours make it to the show.

Tickets go on sale Friday, January 14th at 10 am Central Time. Additionally, members of the Floore’s Country Store email list will have access to presale tickets starting Wednesday, January 12th at 10 am Central Time. Check the band’s website for tickets this Friday.

The band closed their post by saying, “We look forward to getting back on the road in 2022 and hope to see you out there.”
