Justin Moore is celebrating the release of Rascal Flatts’ new greatest hits album by performing an a capella version of the band’s song “I’m Movin’ On.”
Justin Moore took to Twitter to perform his favorite Rascal Flatts song via video. Moore spoke highly of the band members and their newly-released greatest hits album “Twenty Years of Rascal Flatts- The Greatest Hits.”
“I’m going to do a Rascal Flatts tribute,” says Moore in the Twitter video. “I went on tour with those guys many, many years ago. They were very kind to me. Just a great group of dudes.”
Moore, along with Sara Evans and Easton Corbin, opened for Rascal Flatts during “Flatts Fest” in 2011.
“Twenty Years of Rascal Flatts- The Greatest Hits” album was released Oct. 2. The playlist consists of 20 well-known tunes, including “Bless the Broken Road,” “What Hurts the Most” and “My Wish”.
“I’m Movin’ On” is the first single off of Rascal Flatts’ farewell album. Moore decided to perform a special rendition of the song.
“I’ve got my guitar here, but this song, to me, lends itself to just an a capella version,” says Moore.
The online performance is being met with positive feedback.
Another Twitter fan is addressing both musical acts as “favorites” while also expressing sadness over the cancellation of Flatts’ farewell tour.
Along with Rascal Flatts, Justin Moore has shared the stage with many other country legends, including Hank Williams Jr., Brad Paisley and Miranda Lambert.
