Carrie Underwood and Jason Aldean’s Duet of ‘If I Didn’t Love You’ Rises to the Top

The duet of the summer is between two country superstars, Carrie Underwood and Jason Aldean. It quickly climbed to the top of the charts and appears on Jason Aldean’s newly released album, Macon, Georgia.

It is the most relatable song anyone can listen to when going through a breakup or hard time. These artists bring the story to life with the official music video that premiered on September 8th, 2021.

This video was directed through a very clever perspective. In the beginning, it showed Jason Aldean sitting down thinking about what could’ve happened. Then, they come together on stage to sing the chorus. Verse 2 is in the eyes of Carrie Underwood and how she feels about the situation.

This country duo also won a Grammy award for best group performance. They also performed their number one single at the 2021 American Music Awards. It was held on a rooftop in downtown Nashville.

Carrie Underwood’s Growth in Her Music From the Beginning to Now

Carrie Underwood’s career all started when she won season four of American Idol in 2005. She then went on to become one of the top-selling country music artists. While her career was taking off, she was also inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 2008, which gave her the opportunity to co-host the CMA’s with Brad Paisley in past years.

Her first single to hit the top of the Billboard charts was ‘Inside Your Heaven’ and then ‘Jesus, Take the Wheel’ rose to the top of the country charts. Aside from her softer music, she has had great success with “Before He Cheats,” which has more of a pop sound to it.
