Earlier today, Chase Rice shared a heartfelt rendition of his new song, “Drinkin’ Beer, Talkin’ God, Amen,” on Instagram. In the video he posted, Chase Rice talked to his fans about being thankful for where the song came from. He then played an acoustic version of the hit single.
“To all the people who made this song the biggest first week of any song I’ve ever put out. Thank you,” Chase Rice said about his single. “I can’t wait to hear y’all singing it loud as hell next year.”
Hopefully, his optimism works out, and live music will return sometime next year. Some artists have tested the waters in terms of playing live shows, but for the most part, concerts have been canceled due to COVID.
“I just wanted to say thank you by the way for the last couple of days,” Rice says. “It’s been a lot of fun with “Drinkin’ Beer, Talkin’ God, Amen,” coming out. It just means a lot to me on this song because I’ve been doing a lot of that this year. I had a lot of downtimes that I didn’t expect, and this song is just about the positives and the good things that have come out of that.”
