It seems like country artist Chris Janson is trying to tell us something.

If he doesn’t have a boat at this point, someone really needs to get him one. The artist sang an acoustic version of his old 2015 song “Buy Me a Boat” on his Instagram.

“Yeah, and I know what they say, money can’t buy everything / Well, maybe so / But it could buy me a boat / To float down on the water with a beer.”

While Janson sings about the power in money, he also shares just how excited he is for the holiday season.

“I hope you guys are having a blessed, safe holiday season. I can’t wait for Christmas myself…”

Janson has so far given fans the gift of three different full-length albums, “Buy Me a Boat,” “Everybody,” and “Real Friends.”

During his career, he has had nine singles on the Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay. As a songwriter, he has also written songs for Tim McGraw, LoCash, and Randy Houser.

Chris Janson is in the Holiday Spirit

Janson will likely be spending the holidays with his wife Kelly Lynn and their four children.

For Christmas, he released ‘Is It Christmas,” which landed on the number 41 spot on the U.S. Country Airplay chart. Besides Christmas music, he has also released “Waitin’ on 5.”

Last year, the artist also shared just how much he loves this time of year, especially since he gets to spend it with his family.

“I just really truly enjoy family, I really do. That’s what I loved when [Kelly and I] got married. My family is great, okay, but let me take it a step further. Her family is the greatest. So getting married, I was able to have a big family again. I just love that. That’s the best thing,” Janson said to Sounds Like Nashville.

He said that he isn’t as stuck on Christmas traditions but instead likes to play it by ear.

As a partner with Bass Pro Shops, he also teamed up to help give kids fishing gear in Leipers Fork, Tennessee last year.

The country singer currently has a tour lined up starting on Feb. 22 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
