Dolly Parton is in the gift-giving spirit while performing at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade as she delivers a “Holly Dolly Christmas” to viewers during the broadcast.

Dolly Parton Wishes Everyone a ‘Holly Jolly Christmas’

Dolly Parton greeted audiences with her cheerfully high spirits during Thanksgiving’s Macy’s Day Parade.

Viewers across the country tuned in for a virtual Thanksgiving Parade in New York City. However, no live audiences were a part of the celebrations this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Vulture reports.

Why the Spotlight on Cracker Barrel Old Country Store?

She performs from a socially-distanced studio filled with an abundance of Christmas trees. The set is decorated in a magical Winter Wonderland theme mixed with the warmth of a Thomas Kinkade painting. The backdrop is of a Cracker Barrel Old Country Store sitting in the middle of a snow-covered forest.

Partnered with the nationwide restaurant chain, Dolly appears in a dress sparkling like a Christmas tree. Her outfit wasn’t the only thing lighting up the room. Her angelic voice singing with joyful enthusiasm brought light to many during the hard times of the holidays, especially in 2020.

A band and back-up singers accompanied the legend that is Dolly. She performed the beloved holiday song “Holly Jolly Christmas.” The back-up singers were also decked in boughs of holly, wearing decorative Christmas vests and ponchos provided by Cracker Barrel, to go along with Patron’s frills.

A Holly Dolly Christmas

Parton’s already in the holiday spirit, having released a Netflix film and a new record all revolving around Christmas. With her festive appearance singing “Holly Jolly Christmas” on Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the country superstar is more than ready to celebrate.

Dolly Parton’s Christmas on the Square began streaming on Netflix on November 22. “Christmas on the Square” is also a track from her first Christmas album she’s released in 30 years,  A Holly Dolly Christmas, which is out now.
