On Friday, Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood gave fans a sneak peek of their upcoming CBS Christmas special when he shared a clip of two singing on Twitter.

Garth Brooks & Trisha Yearwood Keep Things Casual for Holiday Special

On Inside Studio G this weekGarth Brooks revealed that he and his vocalist wife, Trisha Yearwood are keeping the mood casual for their upcoming special, Garth and Trisha Live! A Holiday Concert Event. They’ve been busy setting the scene around their home as they perform holiday songs requested by fans.

“I think we’re going to be in the kitchen, and maybe by the fireplace. Maybe in the studio. We can go all over the place,” Garth Brooks explained.

During a Facebook Live, the powerhouse couple revealed that they had received multiple requests to perform the Christmas classic “O Holy Night.”

Fans also commented on Yearwood’s Instagram post, requesting other holiday songs such as “I’ll Be Home For Christmas,” “Mary, Did You Know?” “Holly Jolly Christmas” and many more.

“This is gonna be a fun night no matter what happens,” Brooks said. “We’re excited.”

The audience-free show will be similar to the couple’s CBS special in April, during which they also took song requests. On Sunday, the focus will be on holiday songs. However, Garth Brooks revealed to Billboard, “If things get silly and things go to ‘I’ve got friends in low ho ho places,’ I think you can try to stretch to try to get music from an artist you want to hear on a Christmas special.”

The special will start at 8:30 p.m. ET, but Garth Brooks said that he and Trisha Yearwood would likely sign on to his Facebook page 30 minutes to an hour before the show so people can start enjoying the performance before they go live on CBS.

Garth and Trisha Live! A Holiday Concert Event will air from their Nashville home this Sunday on CBS at 8:30 p.m. ET.
