We understand. Sometimes you need to escape 2020 and do your own thing. Well, yesterday, Kane Brown celebrated Christmas from a different perspective as he spent his whole day in virtual reality goggles.
Kane Brown Enjoys New Gift for Hours
In a youtube video posted by Thomas Rhett’s channel, the singer enjoyed his new gift as his wife hilariously records him. In the nearly minute-long video, the country artist strikes a karate move as he wears his goggles, which are strapped to his head. He also holds a controller in each hand.
Brown’s wife, Katelyn, laughs as she asks her husband his thoughts on the high-tech gift.
“Whatcha think? Is it cool?”
“It’s starting up,” says an excited Kane Brown. “The walking is starting up. Right now, it’s just the loading screen. Remember to use your flashlight.”
The video cuts forward, as you see Brown now in a different room, still playing the game.
“Six hours later, literally the whole day,” Katelyn laughs. Brown is looking around and moving his arms as he loves the toy.
The video cuts forward once again, showing Katelyn now in the goggles while holding the controllers. It is also now dark outside. She looks at the ground and takes a few steps forward.
“Walk off of it?” she asks. Using context clues, we can only assume that she is virtually looking off a cliff or ledge. She starts yelling as she puts her hands above her head. At first, she seems to be having fun but then lets out a scared scream at the end of the video.
In the background, the beautiful and cozy living room showcases a woodsy feel. A floor to ceiling stone fireplace with a massive flatscreen is displayed in the middle of the wall with large wood shelves on either side.
Personal Life
Kane Brown and Katelyn exchanged vows in 2018 after being engaged for a long 18-months. Nearly a year to the day later, Katelyn gave birth to the couple’s first child, Kingsley Rose Brown.
