Urban surprised fans with a festive message on Instagram. The couple shared a video of Urban playing a portion of his holiday song, “I’ll Be Your Santa Tonight.” During the song, Urban sings, “I’ll bring the magic. I’ll bring the lights. I’ll make you a star at the top of the tree. Shining so bright. You don’t need a chimney cause I’ll be your fire. Let’s put a kiss at the top of your list. We can be naughty or nice. I’ll be your Santa tonight.”
As he continues to play, Urban shares a holiday message with fans. He says, “We just want to take a second to wish everyone a very merry Christmas. Happy holidays. Wherever you’re watching this from. Merry Christmas from our family to yours.” Kidman adds “We love you. We send you our love.”
Lastly, fans receive best wishes for the new year from Keith Urban. “Here’s to a very buoyant 2021 to everyone, all over the world,” he says.
‘I’ll Be Your Santa’ Is Keith Urban’s First-Ever Christmas Song
Urban unveiled, “I’ll be Your Santa,” last year as his first original Christmas song. The song followed the release of his single, “We Were,” which was co-written by Eric Church. Following the release of “I’ll Be Your Santa” Church returned to work with Urban again and recorded a duet version of the holiday song. Urban also released a music video for the song featuring him in front of a beautiful snowy landscape and Christmas lights. Although he’s performing alone throughout the video, we’re certain Kidman was happy to have him as her Santa Clause.
