Country superstar Kelsea Ballerini is most definitely enjoying her Thanksgiving and she wants her fans and followers to know it. The “Hole in the Bottle” singer posted a video of herself on Thursday in which she shows off her dance moves to a popular rap song.
In the brief clip, the 27-year-old songstress sports a comfy-looking dress and is noticeably holding a turkey leg. She takes a small bite out of her turkey leg as she walks into the frame. A brief moment later, she lets loose to an explicit version of Megan Thee Stallion’s hit single, “Body.”
Ballerini shared the clip with a simple turkey emoji as the caption. Judging by the comments section, Ballerini’s fans and followers clearly loved the video.
“This is iconic,” one user writes. “This is my favorite video I’ve ever seen,” another comments.
Kelsea Ballerini Shares Thanksgiving Message with Fans
Earlier on Thursday, Ballerini uploaded a video in which she offered an encouraging message for the holidays.
“Happy Thanksgiving everybody, I just wanted to first of all…say that. And say, how grateful I am for all of you that are watching this,” she said to start the video. “But mostly, I wanted to post this because a lot of people I know have been planning toward the holidays this year and looking forward to, you know, spending time with friends and family that they haven’t had a lot of time to see this year or just not been able to see this year with everything going on.”
Ballerini then went on to explain what makes her “sad” to think about this unique Thanksgiving. “And I know a lot of those plans have changed, and a lot of people are spending today alone,” she said. “Or spending today not with their normal traditions, and that’s really sad, and isolating, and lonely.”
The country star later implores her fans to reach out to their loved ones. “And, I just think it’s really important, always, but especially as we are entering the holidays to check on your people. Text your friends. Call your mom. Just make sure everyone knows that you love them and that we’re all in this together.”
Ballerini concludes by saying: “So I just A) wanted to tell you that I love you and I’m grateful for you. And B) wanted to tell you and encourage you to just check on your people. Make sure everyone knows that they’re loved and that you’re thankful for them. And eat lots of turkey. Or not. I’m in a big stretchy dress so I can eat all the things and not wonder if my button on my jeans is going to pop off. So that’s exciting. Anyway, I love you. Happy Thanksgiving. Call your people. Hopefully next year’s different.”
