The “CMA Country Christmas” show is only six days away and Kelsea Ballerini is already decking the halls.

The show is set to premiere on ABC on Nov. 30 at 9/8c. Country artist and performer on the show, Kelsea Ballerini, gave a quick tease of the event on the CMA’s Instagram.

This is day seven of the countdown to the show this Monday. She is holding a red stocking while also wearing a red dress. Ballerini drops a chunk of coal into the stocking with a mischievous look.

CMA Hypes Upcoming Production

The CMAs have also been posting on their CMA Christmas story for more than 60 weeks now.

The show will feature performances from nine different artists. They include host Thomas Rhett, Little Big Town, Lady A, Kelsea Ballerini, Darius Rucker, and Lindsey Stirling, Gabby Barrett, Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line, and Tim McGraw.

Rhett and his wife, best-selling author Lauren Akins, will be hosting the ABC special.

The event is not meant to be flashy nor obnoxious. Rather, the producers are going for the 1960s and 1970s feel, from hosts like Andy Williams and Perry Como.

“Instead of a big flashy production, we took a page from those iconic specials to say, ‘Come relax, and let’s celebrate the holidays together,'” the CMAs said according to Tennessean.

The show was filmed back in September before the CMA Awards, which is why Lady A and Florida Georgia Line are still performers despite having to drop out of the CMA Awards for testing COVID positive.

Other holiday specials to look out for are Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood’s “Garth and Trisha Live! A Holiday Concert Event” and Dolly Parton’s Netflix film “Christmas on the Square.”

Fans, including The Elf on the Shelf, have been anticipating the Christmas show for weeks, especially now with the number of teasers being released via social media.
