While out on tour, Luke Combs gives fans what they want. He also represents his home state of North Carolina wherever he goes. Combs is one of the hottest young stars in country music and has commanded huge sellout crowds while out on the road.
In the middle of a set, thousands of fans were screaming and singing along. As Combs is holding a red solo cup in his hand, he belts out a line and then dropkicks the cup into the crowd sending beer all over the place. In the short video, the crowd absolutely loses it as the spray of beer comes down on them.
“Hey @Panthers, if y’all ever need a punter or kicker, y’all know where to find me,” the tweet reads.
This isn’t shocking, of course, Combs is known to do things like this all the time. He is a beer-drinking country boy and that’s just evident. Earlier in the tour, the country star shotgunned a beer on stage and got the crowd going. His fans just love seeing him go nuts on stage and he is more than happy to oblige.
Luke Combs has to be feeling good about himself lately. He was recently named the CMT Artist of the Year along with Chris Stapleton. Now, he is out touring and soaking in all the energy from the crowds he plays in front of. It’s fun to see him have fun, isn’t it? I’d rather be drinking beers with him than flag football. He gets pretty competitive.
Luke Combs Takes Flag Football Game Too Far
Look, we all have a memory of playing flag football at school or somewhere else and one guy takes it a little too far. Unfortunately, for one friend of Luke Combs, the country artist was that guy last week. It was caught on camera too, which makes it all the better.
With college football and the NFL back in season, it makes sense that Combs would take part in a little game of his own. While he was carrying the ball, Combs absolutely trucked his photographer and do it all cameraman, Zack Massey.
It was a brutal hit and Combs looked like he knew he had messed up a bit. He came to a slow walk while a defender came up to tear a flag away. Maybe the Carolina Panthers should sign him to not just be a kicker but a goal-line full back. Granted, his photographer didn’t look like an NFL linebacker, either.
It is no wonder that Luke Combs takes his sports seriously. Watching him on stage, he brings intensity and emotion to every song. Yelling, drinking beer, kicking beer, bouncing around on stage, he does it all.
