Sara Evans joins her daughter Olivia for a CMT holiday special performance. They hit every single note in the Christmas song, O Holy Night. Country Music fans were left speechless.

Christmas Specials on the CMT Country Christmas

On December 8, two new Christmas-themed specials appeared.

First, Brett Young and friends started off the night with a piece from their holiday album, Brett Young & Friends Sing the Christmas Classics. The famous friends include Chris Tomlin, Colbie Caillat, Dann Huff, Darius Rucker, Gavin DeGraw, Maddie & Tae, as well as special guests Boyz II Men.

CMT reports him saying, “It was incredible, and everybody crushed it!”

Brett Young’s collaboration of Silver Bells with Colbie Caillat and Gavin DeGraw swept the audience off their feet. They were dancing and singing along from start to finish.

Furthermore, the 90’s holiday special, A Tennessee Kind of Christmas, featured Amy Grant, Billy Ray Cyrus, Clay Walker, Pam Tillis, Steve Wariner, Tracy Lawrence, Wynonna, and the mother-daughter duo Sara and Olivia Evans.

Sara and Olivia nailed one of the most challenging songs to sing in church. They crushed this performance and hit every high note.

CMT impresses the audience, as they write “The vocals on O Holy Night are 100…”.

These holiday specials will air again during CMT’s Christmas week, which is December 20-25. Don’t miss it!

Sara Evans’ Daughter’s Singing Career

Olivia Evans expressed an interest in singing at a young age. She proves to her mom, Sara Evans, every day that she has the talent to make it in the music industry.

Back in 2017, Sara Evans invited her daughter to join her on stage at CMA Fest to sing “Tennessee Whiskey”. The audience is still blown away by the passion and talent to this day.

A month later, Olivia also got to perform backup vocals for Sara’s live performance for Live with Kelly & Ryan.

With the joy and dedication Olivia has for music, she will definitely make a name for herself in this industry. Having Sara Evans as a mom will also help her dream come true.

Coming Back into the Spotlight

Most of you know that Sara Evans was put on voice rest back in September.

She let her fans know the news 11 weeks ago.

“Thank you for understanding. I love you and I’ll see you soon!,” she wrote.

It’s not always easy stepping away from doing what you love, but this wasn’t forever. At the end of the day, it’s important to always do what’s best for you.

The time away let her heal from the illness, and she’s ready to play music again.
