Judd’s Tumultuous Life
As for Judd, the country singer has led a tumultuous life. She’s on her third marriage, and her daughter went to prison for manufacturing methamphetamine. But she recently told “Fox & Friends” that her time in quarantine on her rural Tennessee farm has led to a bit of a breakthrough.
“I’m finding joy and sorrow here on the land. It’s called real life, I guess,” Judd told hosts Steve Doocy, Brian Kilmeade and Ainsley Earhardt.
“I’m constantly talking about my healing and recovery process,” she added. “I was famous at 18, I’m an introvert, and I’ve battled anxiety since the beginning of the Judds. When I came home in March, I had a bit of what they call a breakdown and a breakthrough. I discovered that silence can be isolation and also solitude, so I’m working that progress thing.”
During the pandemic lockdown, Judd has been playing virtual concerts for her fans. Her most recent one was on Dec. 20.
Judd said she finds her sense of purpose in singing, and she looks forward to the day when she can sing to a live audience once again. Until then, she said life in quarantine has been “sweet and simple.”
