Zac Brown Band Announces Special Tribute Video Honoring Veteran’s Day

Country music stars Zac Brown Band has posted to their Instagram account, asking fans to join him in honoring our veterans.

Zac Brown asked the band’s more than 844,000 Instagram followers to flood their timelines with images of and stories honoring veterans in their life for Veterans Day. The national holiday is in one week, on November 11.

#MyWarrior

The “Chicken Fried” singer posted the video yesterday, and it had already received over 37,700 views and 56 comments.

They captioned the post, “Friends, when our country needs warriors, our veterans are there. Our veterans deserve our honor and support. Let’s make sure it’s heard. Post your #MyWarrior stories on social media and tag us and @campsouthernground. We’re sharing posts and might even select yours to be in our special tribute video releasing on #VeteransDay. Submissions due November 4!”

On October 27, the band got the ball rolling with a picture hashtagged with #MyWarrior on it.

Honoring Veterans at Camp Southern Ground

In both posts, the group tags Camp Southern Ground, which, according to their Instagram page, is “dedicated to serving youth and veterans and staying connected to our communities.”

On one of Camp Southern Ground’s more recent pictures, it tells how the Zac Brown Band was the one who started the organization. “@zacbrown doesn’t just honor veterans at his shows, he founded @campsouthernground 13 years ago to be a place that supports their mental health and wellbeing during the transition to civilian life and beyond.”

The account has posted over 500 photos for their 9,800 followers of events, veterans, and their stories. A link to submit a picture for honoring a veteran or more about programs is found on a link in their bio or at https://linktr.ee/campsouthernground.
