Country music lovers are in for a treat with this exciting news. You heard right, Outsiders, the Zac Brown Band is performing at the SEC Championship this year. You have probably heard a song called, “Chicken Fried” and immediately know who they are.

The nation will pay closer attention to the game between the number four ranked Alabama Crimson Tide and the number one ranked Georgia Bulldogs. Alabama Crimson Tide will put up a fight to keep their spot in the playoffs, while Georgia is ready to win an SEC Championship for the first time since 2017. It will be held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, which is Zac Brown’s hometown.

The band reposted from the @collegegameday Instagram with the caption, “LIVE from the SEC Championship!!”

The Zac Brown Band is super excited to take part in this experience. Furthermore, the band is also celebrating their 16th number one single at Country Radio.

A couple of days ago, the band posted a photograph of them celebrating their 16th number one single at Country Radio. They referenced their “Same Boat” song in the caption while actually on a boat.

The band has a lot to celebrate right now and has even more excitement coming their way soon.

“The Comeback” Album

Zac Brown Band released their new album on October 15th, 2021. It includes 15 songs. If you haven’t heard “The Comeback” yet, listen here.

“The Comeback” is about how the country portrayed them in the last year and a half. It was hard for them to witness because it was not the country they grew up in. This song is a way for people to put their differences aside and come together as a whole.

The title of the album has many heartfelt meanings for them. It was originally a return to form for the band, who experimented with pop and electronic music in the early stage of their career. It also gives the band an opportunity to emerge from the pandemic to the stage again.

If you are planning on watching the SEC championship, get ready to jam out to these songs.

The Comeback Tour

The Comeback Tour kicks off on May 22nd in Frisco, Texas at Toyota Stadium.

Before the tour kicks off, the band will be performing at News Years Eve Live in Nashville, Tennessee. This is a free event and all ages are welcome to attend. It is located at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park.

If you don’t have any New Years plans yet, this is the place to be.
