National Parks, the new TV series produced by Kevin Costner, announced two more actors who will be part of the show.

On Monday, Deadline reported that Ashley Sharpe Chestnut and Blu Hunt will be series regulars.

The show will center around a group of agents who investigate criminal activity unfolding in our national parks. Count on the grandeur of the parks to be a focus.

We already know some of the other actors set to appear. Billy Campbell, who starred in shows like Once and Again and Crime Story, portrays the show’s main character, Cal Foster. He’s a special agent who investigates crimes occurring in national parks.

New National Parks Cast Members Will Be a Special Agent and Ranger

Angel Parker will portray Ava Longridge. Her character is an intelligence analyst. Gerardo Celasco will also be series regulars on National Parks. Parker is Lincoln Kane, who is described as a “fearless” special agent.

According to Deadline, Chestnut will be Penny Stanton. She’s a rookie special agent “eager to take on any challenge.” She wants to prove herself with her physical and mental abilities.

Hunt is Nore Yazzie. She’s described as a “fun-loving” park ranger who also assists the special agents solving crime.

Chestnut, who is 28, has had recurring roles on Homeland and Cruel Summer. Hunt, 25, also is in the main cast of Another Life and The New Mutants.

ABC Ordered Pilot From Costner a Month Ago

A month ago, ABC ordered the National Parks pilot. In 2019, it made a commitment to the show. Kevin Costner’s Territory Pictures Entertainment. He’ll work with 20th Television and A+E Studios.

Costner is the co-writer of National Parks. He’s also a producer. Aaron Helbing and Jon Baird also will co-write National Parks. Anthony Hemingway will direct the pilot.

“Our partners at ABC, 20th Television, and A+E Studios have given me a great environment to step out of my comfort zone and deliver something special,” Costner said in a statement last month.

There is no date, as yet, for the pilot.

Kevin Costner is busy these days. He stars in Yellowstone as John Dutton, the patriarch of a family that owns the largest ranch in the country. Season four already is in the can. But Paramount has yet to announce when it will premiere this year.

Costner teased with a tweet late last month, posting a photo of himself as John Dutton on Twitter. He wrote “who’s ready to get back to the ranch.”

Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan also announced a couple of spinoffs from the show. They’re called Y:1883, a prequel to Yellowstone, and 6666, about a ranch in West Texas.
