Jimmy Palmer actor Brian Dietzen just revealed “three highlights” ahead of the new NCIS episode tonight. The show just said goodbye to its main character of almost two decades, Agent Gibbs. Gibbs actor Mark Harmon has decided to leave the show. This episode will focus on a Gibbs-less NCIS. It’ll be interesting to see how last week will affect the ratings going forward.

Dietzen, however, is keeping things positive and teasing the upcoming episode to fans. Luckily, Ducky will be a part of the new episode, bringing in a familiar face to the franchise following the exit of Mark Harmon.

“New #NCIS tonight, and it’s a damn good one. Three highlights from this scene alone: 1. Duck and Jimmy working together in autopsy? Yes please. 2. Knight popping by for a quick hello? Fantastic. 3. Jimmy has a sprained wrist from kicking far too much ass during his nighttime crime fighting superhero escapades? ….uh… maybe? And that only ONE of tonight’s scenes. See you tonight!” the NCIS actor wrote.

The NCIS cast and crew are going to have to give it their all to keep fans hooked, but if this episode really is this jam-packed, they’ll hopefully be able to survive the biggest exit in the history of the show.

After Gibbs’ Exit, Alden Park is Taking Charge

Following the exit of Agent Gibbs, it looks like Alden Park is going to take charge in a new preview for the episode. In the new preview, he’s assigning duties to McGee and the rest of the team. It’s impossible to say whether or not he’ll remain the leader of the team but it looks like he’s going to try his absolute best to keep them all together.

Alden Park actor Gary Cole joined the show as a full-time cast member this year. He’s brand new, but his character is already becoming a big presence. Any show that’s been going on this long has fans that are always skeptical of a new face, especially if they are replacing a very beloved regular.

Cole is one of the two new actors on the show this year. Katrina Law has joined as Special Agent Jessica Knight.

Lots of fans aren’t sure what to think of the new character yet. Which is honestly probably best case scenario for Cole. This episode may make fans see Alden Park in a new light, whether that’s a good or a bad one.

If you want to catch tonight’s episode of NCIS, the show airs new episodes Monday nights at 9/8 Central. Following NCIS, all new episodes of NCIS: Hawai’i starring Vanessa Lachey air. Both episodes airing tonight look like good ones, so fans probably won’t want to miss it.
