NCIS’s nineteenth season certainly has not disappointed fans of the long-running series.
On Monday, the sixth episode in the long-awaited season of the hit series is scheduled to premiere. So, what can fans expect to see from the team during the November 1 episode?
Thankfully, we do have to wait until Monday to catch this newest episode. CBS has recently released a sneak peek of the upcoming show. In this sneak peek, fans a glimpse of what they can expect in next week’s premiere.
In Monday’s upcoming NCIS episode, which is titled False Start, we continue following the changes at the NCIS offices.
One of these changes, of course, is the promotion of Agent Alden Parker (Gary Cole). In this new season, Gary Cole has stepped in to fill the role left empty when NCIS team leader, Leroy Jethro Gibbs took off for a quiet life in Alaska.
Of course, this major change is going to be quite an adjustment for viewers.
After all, Gibbs, who is portrayed by longtime actor Mark Harmon has been a mainstay on the series since it premiered in 2003.
However, fans are likely not the only ones who are adjusting to the major changes. It seems False Start will address the NCIS team’s reaction to the addition of Alden Parker to their team.
The recently released preview shows the team worrying a bit about what it is, exactly, that Alden is bringing to the table at the NCIS.
‘NCIS’s’ Alden Parker Shocks His New Team
As the recent preview begins, we see the NCIS team as they are shocked over something their new boss has done.
As the team arrives at work in the newest episode, they see that their new team leader has left some treats for them to enjoy. This, of course, is a big change for the team. Gibbs was never really the leader to bring baked goods for his agents.
The NCIS team becomes even more confused as Gary Cole’s Alden Parker comes in and asks the team how their weekend was. Again, something their former head agent would never have done.
Of course, Gibbs did care about his agents even if he didn’t bring them goodies each day or inquire about their weekend. If Leroy Jethro Gibbs was any type of leader, he was a “get-down-to-business” leader.
Gibbs was a leader who would tend to just show up at the start of the day and tell fill his agents in on the latest case.
Elsewhere, the NCIS team faces a case that involves a Navy commander who is well-known for training star athletes. However, some unusual circumstances are surrounding this commander. So the NCIS team sets out to dig deeper to get to the bottom of things.
