While things have been going absolutely wonderful for NCIS: Hawai’i star Vanessa Lachey on screen and at home, the NCIS star has been facing some challenges with her social media accounts.
It seems Vanessa Lachey’s Twitter account was recently compromised leading to her account being put on hold.
According to the actress, Lachey’s Twitter account was hacked recently. And, those behind the crime have been trying to scam the star’s Twitter followers.
It was a shocking situation for the NCIS: Hawai’i star. However, Lachey thankfully found out what was happening. She was then able to get the issues taken care of as best as she could.
With her account finally recovered on Monday, Vanessa Lachey was finally able to speak to her fans through her Twitter page.
“Hey,” the NCIS: Hawai’i actress says in a November 1 post.
“it’s me! I finally recovered my account,” Lachey continues. “I know the hacker was trying to scam my followers into buying a ps5 & I’m so sorry.”
Lachey goes on to advise any of her fans that may have been victims of the hack to begin precautions in order to make sure they are not scammed out of their money.
“Please make sure to contact your bank & let them know what happened,” the actress says in her post. “I’m disgusted that there are ppl out there who would do something like this.”
‘NCIS: Hawai’i’ Brings Out Lachey’s Inner ‘Badass’
Vannessa Lachey’s Twitter page may have been a source of stress for the actress recently. However, prior to the issues, Twitter was a place where the NCIS: Hawai’i shared great excitement.
This fall, Lachey began her role as Jane Tennant, the first female Special Agent in charge of the Pearl Harbor base on NCIS: Hawai’i.
And, shortly after the series premiered, the longtime actress shared one of her favorite moments shooting the new series with her Twitter fans.
“This was also my first on-scene shooting,” Vanessa Lachey says in a recent Twitter post.
In the October 11 Twitter post, Lachey shows a still from the set of NCIS: Hawai’i while the cast was shooting on the scene in the Hawai’ian Islands.
The photo shows Lachey as the “badass” Jane Tennant looking amazing as she holds her gun up, clearly in the middle of a case.
“We shoot blanks obviously,” the actress says in her tweet.
“but the hardest part was that I had to shoot a quick draw and look like a badass,” the actress continues.
Lachey adds that while she and her costars pull off scenes such as these on-screen, they aren’t always the easiest to shoot.
“Harder than it looks,” the actress jokes. “No blinking, thumbs clear of the kickback.”
