Over the weekend, NCIS: Hawai’i star Vanessa Lachey wished television network MTV a special happy on her Instagram account.

“Happy 40th Birthday MTV,” the NCIS: Hawai’i beauty shares on her social media page. She also posts a throwback snapshot of her on MTV’s Total Request Live stage. She was the host of the music show from 2003 until 2007.

“I will never forget our first date in Times Square, September 2003. We were BOTH 22 years old,” Lachey continues. “You were funny, sexy, and soooo easy to be around. You gave me some of the best years of my life.”

The NCIS: Hawai’i castmate further reveals that she loves the network and will never forget it. “Also, Thank You for bringing me @nicklachey. I owe you!” Nick Lachey, the NCIS: Hawai’i star’s husband and 98 Degrees bandmate chimes in on the post by adding, “Damn, you’re sexy….”

‘NCIS: Hawai’i’ Wraps the First Two Episodes of the Series

Larry Teng, a director and executive producer of NCIS: Hawai’i, took to his Instagram at the end of July to announce the series officially wrapped its first two episodes. “After 22 days of filming, I can officially say that the pilot and episode 102 for @ncishawaiicbs is wrapped,” Teng states.

The show’s production team member also says that he feels so lucky to collaborate with the amazing cast, producers, and crew. “They have held me up, worked long hours, and devoted their time, sweat, and talents for this maiden voyage. It’s been an unforgettable experience.”

Last week, Teng also posted a snapshot of him, Lachey, and Alex Tarrant at Pearl Harbor while shooting the new spin-off. “Last week shoot at #PearlHarbor with these two gems.”

The upcoming season is the latest spin-off of the NCIS franchise on CBS. The series reportedly followers a team of the Naval Criminal Investigation Service (NCIS) agents who work in the Pearl Harbor Field Office. The team is led by Special Agent Jane Tennant, who is played by Lachey.  Tennant is making history as being the first female lead in an NCIS series.

Lachey previously spoke about her new role on NCIS: Hawai’i by stating on Instagram, “Honored is an understatement! To join the NCIS franchise as the first female lead and to do it on the beautiful islands of Hawai’i… I still can’t believe it!”

Starring alongside Lachey on NCIS: Hawai’i will be Yasmine Al-Bustami, Jason Antoon, Noah Mills, Tori Anderson, and Alex Tarrant. The show is set to premiere on  September 20th and will be right after the main series NCIS kicks off its 19th season. NCIS: Los Angeles will be premiering its 13th season on October 10th and NCIS: New Orleans premiered its series finale in May 2021.
