NCIS star Brian Dietzen, who plays Jimmy, just dropped a beautiful photo of Granby on his Instagram. Dietzen could use a break with nature. He’s worked as an actor on NCIS since 2004, making him one of the few remaining actors from the early seasons. Now, the show is on hiatus, and he’s taking the time to get outside.

“Ah, Granby,” he wrote, “This is where nature-loving hearts get filled. It’s just beautiful.”

The beautiful image displays a classic mountain-filled scene that you could really only find in the Rockies. Dietzen’s fans were quick to enjoy the picture, and also wish the actor, who is a father of two children, a happy Father’s Day.

“Happy Father’s Day!” one person wrote “This is AMAZING scenery!”

“Hello from Colorado too… it really is a beautiful state,” another fan commented.

Hopefully, he’ll get to enjoy the view for a little longer before getting back to work as Production for NCIS seems to still be on pause. The show won’t come back until the Fall months.

Dietzen Is One of the Few Original Cast Members Left on ‘NCIS’ With Mark Harmon Eyeing a Potential Departure

Brian Dietzen is one of the few recognizable faces left for fans of the OG NCIS. Pauley Perrette, who played the beloved Abby Scuito, left the show in 2018. Tony Dinozzo actor Michael Weatherly left the show after season 13. Ziva David is also a character no longer regularly on the show, with actress Cote de Pablo occasionally returning to the show.

Now, it’s rumored that Gibbs actor Mark Harmon is also eying an exit. The actor and producer allegedly went to CBS higher-ups about quitting. However, he was told that NCIS would be canceled without him on the show. Now, Harmon will return to NCIS but with a reduced role, something CBS President of Scripted Entertainment Kelly Kahl spoke about with Deadline.

“We take it year by year with Mark, we’d love to have him as long as he’d like to be here,” he said. “Even in this past season, he might have been light in a couple of [episodes], so we’re happy to work around his schedule.”

And CBS really does need Harmon, because NCIS is an incredibly successful show for them. Even in its later years, NCIS still dominates the ratings with eye-popping numbers. Even its spinoffs do well. NCIS: Los Angeles is especially received.

If you’re Missing Brian Dietzen, Mark Harmon, and the rest of the NCIS cast, it’ll be back this fall with a new timeslot. NCIS: Los Angeles will also return with a highly anticipated 13th season. NCIS: Hawai’i, a brand new NCIS spinoff starring Vanessa Lachey, will air this fall as well. Production for NCIS: Hawai’i has already begun.

Hopefully, when NCIS returns, fans will appreciate the familiar faces while also welcoming in new cast members to the show.
