‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Actor Daniela Ruah Flexes with Her Son in Cute Pic: ‘Mama and Her Boy’

Director and actress Daniela Ruah always finds the time for a photo-op with her two beautiful children. Busy with her career and being a mom, she somehow manages to squeeze in an Instagram post for followers to admire.

The pic shows the “NCIS: Los Angeles” star and her 7-year-old son, River, posing with muscles flexed.

This special mother-and-son moment captures their playful side. Both wearing their sunglasses, it appears to be a fun family day out on the beach. River is all smiles, while mom stands behind attempting a mean mug.

The caption simply reads, “Mama and her boy,” and then she translates it into Portuguese: “A mamã e o filhote.” Followed by a number of descriptive tags: “#River #longhairdontcare #littletarzan #guincho #beach #portugal #cabelocomprido #minitarzan”

In another recent Instagram post, Ruah took a pic of both her 4-year-old daughter, Sierra, and River holding hands. They’re walking along the beach shore as she shoots the endearing photo. She captioned it, “my 5 loves,” which could include their location.

Not pictured is her actor husband, David Paul Olsen. He also happens to be “NCIS: LA” co-star Eric Christian Olsen’s brother.

Hopefully, fans will get to see more social media post updates throughout the summer. Meanwhile, dedicated “NCIS: LA” viewers are waiting for the 13th season to premiere this fall.

‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Actress Linda Hunt Returns to Season 13

Since 2009, “NCIS: LA” star Linda Hunt has portrayed Henrietta “Hetty” Lange on the TV series. However, after watching the season 12 finale episode, it left fans to speculate if Hetty is back for good.

Why exactly is the operations manager back to the Office of Special Projects? After all, Nell Jones (Renée Felice Smith), who was Hetty’s temporary replacement, refused to accept her position permanently, as TV Insider covered.

Last season’s decision to write out Eric and Nell makes fans wonder Hunt’s role in season 13.

In an interview by TVLine, showrunner R. Scott Gemmill gave details on why Hunt’s character was absent for much of season 12.

“As you know, Linda [Hunt] was away a lot more this season because of COVID and us trying to keep her safe,” he said. “The couple of episodes that she was in, where she was supposed to be in the Middle East, we actually shot in her driveway.”

Then Gemmill explained, during the interview, how exciting it is to have Hetty back on set next season.

“She had been gone for so long and hadn’t really interacted with anyone, so she was just so thrilled to be back on set,” he said. “The minute I saw her, she’s like, ‘Let’s talk about next season,’ so I think that as tough as last year was, for a lot of reasons, she, like the rest of us, is starting to see a little light at the end of the tunnel and feels good.”
