The “NCIS: Los Angeles” team is also one big, happy family off the screen as well.
As it turns out, Daniela Ruah is married to Eric Christian Olsen’s brother, David Olsen. He is also a stunt double for “NCIS: Los Angeles.” This means that while Ruah and Olsen are married on the show, they are still family outside of the “NCIS” universe as well.
Eric Christian Olsen’s wife, Sarah Wright, recently shared a sweet post about Daniela Ruah on Instagram. She wrote, “Winter walking. Photos by my sis @danielaruah – love our chilly beach days with the family.”
The two have been family since Ruah and David Olsen got married in 2014. Eric Christian Olsen and Wright got married in 2012.
Sarah Wright and Olsen have three kids together as well — Oliver, Esme, and Winter. Her caption is especially clever, seeing as she is walking with her daughter Winter in the two beach day photos.
In fact, Ruah and Wright were even pregnant at the same time at one point. In an interview with ET Online, Wright joked about who was really carrying the biggest responsibility between the two pregnancies.
“I think the person who has the most challenge from all of this is Eric, because he goes to work and he has to be with her and he comes home and he’s with me,” Wright said back in 2016.
‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Star’s New Show
In addition to working on “NCIS: Los Angeles” and being a husband and father of three, Olsen is also gearing up for an all-new show.
CBS is going to create a first-responders show to keep up with the other networks. According to Deadline, the show will be “Rescue: MIA” and it is currently in the development process. It also happens to be executive produced by “NCIS: Los Angeles” star Eric Christian Olsen and his Cloud Nine Productions.
The new show is written by Juan Carlos Coto, who is an executive producer for “9-1-1.” It is also co-written by James Hanlon, the director of “NCIS: Los Angeles.” Similar to “Blue Bloods” in some ways, the new show will focus on a family of first responders. The team works together in order to save their Miami community from different horrible disasters. All the while, the family must also deal with their own issues and family secrets.
Hanton is the perfect person for the new project. He created the documentary film “9/11,” which won two Emmys and a Peabody Award. He was an NYC firefighter there during the 9/11 attacks.
There is no current casting information or a possible date that the show will air on CBS. It is still in the earlier phases of development as of now.
