In addition to it being America’s birthday, fans of NCIS: Los Angeles now have another reason to celebrate this weekend.

You can spend your afternoon hanging out on the lake and you can spend your evening grilling up some delicious 4th of July burgers and hot dogs. Then at night, you can light off some fireworks and come inside and enjoy reruns of NCIS: Los Angeles. The popular military crime show announced on Sunday afternoon that they would be airing reruns both Sunday and Monday night. On Sunday, you can tune in at 9/8c and on Monday you can watch an hour later at 10/9c.

In announcing the good news, the official NCIS: Los Angeles Instagram account posted a photo of one of the stars of the show, LL Cool J. He plays a former U.S. Navy SEAL and NCIS Special Agent Sam Hanna.

“For all the reasons to celebrate, here are two more,” NCIS: Los Angeles wrote alongside the photo. “Reruns of #NCISLA on tonight at 9/8c and tomorrow at 10/9c. Let the barbecuing, boat-lounging, and binge-watching commence.”

Evidently, NCIS: Los Angeles fans are just as excited for the action as we are. They took to the comments section of the show’s most recent post to express just that.

“My favorite show ever,” one fan replied. Others left messages hyping up the upcoming reruns as well such as, “Woohoo” and “Fantastic actor.”

‘NCIS’ Marathon Will Take Place on We TV Over 4th of July Weekend

Although we have to wait until the fall for the newest season of NCIS, there is still yet room to celebrate on July 4th. According to WE TV, the station will be airing old episodes of the show beginning on Sunday, July 4. What better way to spend a holiday than with your family and your favorite special agents?

As for when Season 19 of the hit show will return to CBS, we currently do not know a set premiere date. However, with that said, Deadline did report a new change to the show’s upcoming schedule. Season 19 of NCIS will air this fall on CBS on Monday nights at 9 p.m. ET instead of Tuesdays at that time. Meanwhile, the new NCIS: Hawaii series will air right after that at 10 p.m. ET.

We also know that many of our favorite characters are slated to return for Season 19. Mark Harmon will be back as Leroy Jethro Gibbs, Sean Murray as Timothy McGee, Wilmer Valderrama as Nick Torres, David McCallum as Dr. Donald Mallard, and more.

Missing from that list, sadly, is Emily Wickersham. The popular actress played the role of Ellie Bishop on NCIS for eight seasons. She confirmed last month on Instagram that Season 18 would be her last.
