‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Star Daniela Ruah is ‘Thrilled’ Her Husband Still ‘Looks at Her This Way’ in Hilarious Anniversary Pic

by Anna Dunn

NCIS: Los Angeles star Daniela Ruah just shared an anniversary post that’s equal parts funny and sweet. The star posted a photo of herself and her husband, David Paul Olsen with a long caption about their marriage. The two married in 2014.

Hilariously, the photo shows the couple together, with Ruah looking at the camera and Olsen looking… somewhere else. See for yourself.

“After 7 years of marriage, 10 years together, 2 amazing kiddos, and a year of constantly being home together, I’m thrilled that you still look at me this way,” she wrote.

“We have argued and loved and like so many other couples this year, we found a different stride & together went with it. I love making life plans with you and if it’s at all possible I love you even more. Happy anniversary babaaay!”

Ruah and Olsen met on the set of NCIS: Los Angeles, and if you recognized a name similarity between David Paul Olsen and Ruah’s on-screen husband Eric Christian Olsen, it’s not a coincidence.

Daniela Ruah’s Fictional Husband is Actually Her Brother-In-Law

Ruah and David Olsen started dating after Eric Christian Olsen, who plays Ruah’s husband on the show, set them up. Slightly confusing, we know. Ruah has played Special Agent Kensi Blye on NCIS: Los Angeles since its start in 2009. Eric Christian Olsen plays her husband, Detective Marty Deeks.

David Olsen works on set as a stunt double for his younger brother. Eric Olsen is married as well to actress Sarah Wright. The two have three children together.

‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Will Give a Fan-Favorite Character a Full-Time Spot

Some of the fans’ favorite moments are seeing Blye, Deeks, and the rest of the characters interact with Navy Admiral Hollace Kilbride. If you’re one of those fans, then there’s great news. Gerald McRaney, who plays Killbride on NCIS: Los Angeles, has been promoted to the main cast. This means he should be in many more episodes than before.

The change comes as two series regulars, Barret Foa and Renee Felice Smith, departed the series following the finale. While their departure was quite sad for many, the increased presence of Gerald McRaney is sure to make the upcoming 13th season that much better.

“Admiral Kilbride has been an esteemed part of our universe for seven years now and we look forward to viewers seeing him come in and shake up our ‘NCIS: LA’ world,” executive producer R. Scott Gemmill said to Deadline.

Season 13 of NCIS: Los Angeles will premiere this fall. Daniela Ruah and Eric Christian Olsen are set to return to the series. Linda Hunt will also make her long-awaited return to a full-time cast position. Hopefully, fans will be able to entertain themselves with the often hilarious and heartwarming posts that the cast members decide to share.
