NCIS: Los Angeles star Daniela Ruah just posted a fun cowboy hat photo on Insta. It all seems to be a part of a photoshoot for her sweet and comfortable-looking pair of shoes. The actress has played Kensi Blye on NCIS: Los Angeles for years and will be returning for season 13, which is filming now.
“@nikkireed thank you so much for creating these beautiful and sustainable shoes with @lociwear ! I’m in love with how cute and comfortable they are… what else you got that I can wear????” the actress wrote.
The fun, sun-drenched photo feels like an embodiment of summertime. Fans were quick to comment on how beautiful they find the actress.
Ruah Stars alongside LL. Cool J, Linda Hunt, Chris O’ Donnell, and Eric Christian Olsen. The new season of NCIS: Los Angeles is in production, but the cast and crew are remaining tight-lipped about what’s next for the characters. There are, however, a few things from next season that fans should expect.
‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Season 13 Will Continue Where Season 12 Left Off
While NCIS: Los Angeles season 12 left off on a refreshingly positive note, there’s still a lot of plotlines left unfinished. First, Kensi and Deeks will likely continue to try and grow their family. The two tried to have kids throughout season 12 but failed to conceive. Now, the two seem to be eyeing adoption.
Another possibility for the 13th season is a further exploration of where Hetty was during season 12. While Linda Hunt couldn’t film season 12 due to COVID-19 precautions, producers had to scramble to find a reason for hetty to be gone on the show. Now, with Hetty back, the writer’s room wants to further delve into where exactly she went.
Season 13 won’t, however, see Nell or Eric. Nell actress Reneé Felice Smith and Eric actor Barret Foa have both decided to leave NCIS: Los Angeles. The season 12 finale found Nell and Eric opting to go their own way, moving to Tokyo so Eric could pursue his tech dreams.
While the departure is definitely difficult for fans, Killbride actor Gerald McCraney is joining the show full time. Killbride is a major fan favorite, and most fans will absolutely love seeing more of his wacky character on the show. Executive Producer R. Scott Gemmill expressed his excitement to Deadline.
“When you have an actor of Gerald McRaney’s caliber, you do everything you can to make sure you get him as often as possible,” he said.
NCIS: Los Angeles season 13 will premiere on Sunday, October 10th at 9 pm. The other two shows in the franchise, NCIS, and NCIS: Hawai’i will air on Monday nights starting on September 20th this year.
