‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Star Eric Christian Olsen Begins Filming Season 13, Gives Fans a Look at His Home ‘For the Next 10 Months’

NCIS: Los Angeles is back in session, and Deeks actor Eric Christian Olsen is giving fans a behind-the-scenes look. Olsen shared two video clips from back on set, showing off his airstream trailer, which he called his “home for the next ten months.”

He also showed off some of the crew that works on the show, particularly the head of wardrobe, who had laid out a bunch of different outfits for the cast to try, including some black pants Olsen was particularly excited about.

Olsen took the videos for the NCIS: Los Angeles Instagram account.

“Are you excited? We’re excited. Season 13 in the works, #NCISLA fam!” The caption said.

“I’ve been waiting for this all day long and now I literally can’t stop watching,” another fan said.

Everyone else seems to agree. Most simply can’t wait for the series to start, and are holding back any sort of concerns or specific wants for now. Olsen’s been doing a lot of promotional work for the show, and he had a lot to say about the upcoming season premiere in a Twitter video.

“You’re going to love it but I can’t say [much]. It’s going to be a dark and storming night. There’s chaos and things explode,” he said. Apparently, Deeks starts the premiere shirtless before the intro even plays.

“I mean it doesn’t get better than that. Season 13 baby, we doing it,” he said.

Two Fan Favorites Have Full Time Spots on ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Following the Departure of Two Key Characters

The NCIS: Los Angeles season 12 finale found Nell and Eric leaving Los Angeles, and their careers, to start new lives in Tokyo. Therefore, Renee Felice Smith and Barrett Foa have both said their goodbyes to the show. The two longtime regulars are setting their sights elsewhere, but two other actors are deepening their commitment.

Fans were particularly concerned about actress Linda Hunt’s absence from season 12. But thankfully for fans of Hetty, she’ll be back for season 13. Hunt only took a reduced role in season 12 in order to stay safe from COVID 19. The actress is older than the rest of the cast, and therefore more at risk of the virus.

Meanwhile, Horace Killbride fans can also rejoice. Gerald McRaney, who plays the hilariously gloomy Killbride, will join the cast as a full-time member. This means fans will get a LOT more of the character.

NCIS: Los Angeles season 13 will premiere Sunday, October 10th at 9 pm on CBS. For now, Eric Christian Olsen and the rest of the fantastic cast seem keen to give people some exciting behind-the-scenes updates.
