NCIS: Los Angeles actor Eric Christian Olsen put an adorable photo of his wife and daughter on his Instagram story, saying that his daughter “obviously misses” him. As an actor, Olsen has to be out of town a lot and working long hours.
Here’s the adorable picture his wife, Sarah Wright Olsen, posted.
“Morning [coffee] at our favorite spot @risedriggs,” she wrote.
Sarah Wright and Eric Olsen have three children, Esme Olivia, Winter Story, and Wyatt Oliver. The two married in 2012. Winter is their youngest and was born in September of last year.
When the two had their first child, Wyatt, Olsen often stayed at home while his wife went to work. In a 2015 interview, the two joked about the experience.
“I would come home at like six in the morning. He’s on top of Eric asleep,” Wright described. “They both have their shirts off like a couple of frat boys. The bottle of milk is in the middle of the bed. Wyatt has milk stains on his mouth and I’m like ‘What happened?’ There’s no covers on the bed. It looks like an all-out war happened.”
‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Co-Star LL Cool J Once Had a Hilarious Way to Get Olsen’s Son to Stop Crying
When Eric Olsen is away, he’s likely working on NCIS: Los Angeles. His role as Marty Deeks has been great fun for fans. He’s also written for NCIS: Los Angeles. He penned his first episode in 2019. The episode, Mother, also marked the 250th total NCIS: Los Angeles episode. But his duties as a parent don’t always stop when he’s with his co-stars.
It’s not easy being a parent, and Olsen really felt this when his infant son wouldn’t stop crying at a cast party. Thankfully, co-star LL Cool J was there to lend a helping hand.
One time I was at Dani’s housewarming party,” Olsen begins of the event at co-star Daniela Ruah’s home. “And it was the witching hour, so Wyatt was crying. I was in a back room, and you know that little dance you do with the baby? Just doing this for like an hour?” He told The Talk.
“So I’m holding the baby and he’s crying his eyes out, and LL walks in and goes… ‘It’s all love, man, it’s all love!’… And the baby stops crying.” He said. The moment sounds like something out of a sitcom.
After so many years on the show, the NCIS: Los Angeles cast has clearly gotten close. From cast parties to help each other out with kids, they seem to have each other’s backs.
That’s definitely a good thing because NCIS: Los Angeles is charging right into its 13th season. Hopefully, Olsen will have plenty of time to spend with his kids before heading back to set.
