NCIS: Los Angeles star LL Cool J just stopped by The Kelly Clarkson Show ahead of the Season 13 premiere. In a new Instagram post, he poses in front of Clarkson’s pretty sunflower wall.

“Appreciate you @kellyclarksonshow,” the NCIS: Los Angeles star wrote in the caption.

On the show, he’s probably going to spend a good amount of time talking about season 13 of NCIS: Los Angeles where he plays Sam Hannah. He also has plenty to go over when it comes to his music career as well. His lifestyle brand just launched a new award in collaboration with the BET Awards, and he handed out the first-ever one to Tyler the Creator earlier this week.

While LL Cool J is definitely best known for his music, his acting shouldn’t be discounted. Fans have loved his work on the show and are excited to see more of him and the rest of his co-stars going into NCIS: Los Angeles season 13.

‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Recently Released a New Promotional Video for Season 13

In a new video promoting season 13 of NCIS: Los Angeles, LL Cool J’s co-stars Daniela Ruah and Eric Christian Olsen talk about how they’re making new episodes now, and how they’re thrilled that the new season is coming up so soon. In the clip, Olsen, who plays Deeks, is standing somewhere in the woods. Ruah, who plays Kensi, stands in front of her trailer. Her makeup makes it look like she’s taken a fall.

On NCIS: Los Angeles, Kensi and Deeks will be looking to grow their family. However, it’s unclear whether or not they’ll be successful. If they are, the two of them having a child might spell trouble for their careers. It’s one of the major personal plot points going into the next season.

“That’s been a big dilemma for us as writers because you don’t want to do something that makes your characters look negligent. Would it be a wise decision to have a child when both of you are putting your lives in jeopardy every day? That’s a legitimate concern for the two of them. It’s something that we will have to explore as we move forward,” showrunner R. Scott Gemmill told TV Line.

The only character we haven’t gotten much info on for the upcoming season is Sam Hannah. That doesn’t mean LL Cool J’s character will be left in the dust, however. But production can’t reveal everything.

Still, not only have they talked about Kensi and Deeks, but they’ve mentioned that they’ll follow a storyline with Callen and Hetty where Callen will finally learn more about his past and what Hetty has to do with it.

You can find out more about where the season is going soon. The first episode drops this Sunday, October 10th on CBS.
