How much is NCIS: Los Angeles star Daniel Ruah’s net worth?

Ruah stars as Special Agent Kensi Blye on the CBS hit series for the last twelve seasons.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Daniella Ruah is worth $7 million.

To put things in perspective, let’s take a look at what the other stars’ salaries are. Looper reported that both LL Cool J and Chris O’Donnell each make approximately $350,000 an episode. Mind you, O’Donnell and LL Cool J have been in the business longer than Ruah and have done more projects thus far. It’s safe to approximate that she and her fellow castmates with less experience make less than the two leads.

Furthermore, reports suggest that with her endeavors, she makes approximately $1.13 million a year.

Although she is known for acting, Ruah has now become a director. She directed Season 12 Episode 11 of NCIS: Los Angeles, all while co-starring on it.

“I feel really excited and I’m loving it,” Ruah told The Herald News. “It’s a passion I’ve had for a long time, but I never gave it a try out of fear.”

Why Does She Have Unique Eyes?

In an interview with Esquire, the NCIS: Los Angeles star revealed why she has a different colored eye.

“It happened when I was a kid. You know how Barbies have the little plastic hands? One of them stuck in my eye when I was sleeping.”

She then began to laugh and explained that was a joke.

“No, I can’t stay serious,” she added. “That’s not true at all. It’s a birthmark called nevus of Ota. It covers the whole white of my eye and darkens it. The square of the eye, the white part, is completely dark on my right eye, not just the iris. It’s very common in Asian people but quite rare in Caucasians. It doesn’t affect my vision or anything like that.”

Unfortunately, some people photoshop her stunning features to add white to her eye. She does not enjoy when that happens. Ruah admitted that it has not hurt her career, although it does require some lighting adjustments at times.

‘NCIS: Los Angles’ Season 13 Struggles

Season 12 brought trouble with the entertainment industry as the COVID-19 pandemic raged. Actress Linda Hunt who portrays Hetty, was only able to do virtual cameos. The crew filmed it outside her house on her driveway. This season, numerous safety precautions are being taken.

“We are limited in what we can do,” Ruah said. The adjustment was different in both acting and directing aspects. Days are filled with rapid tests, face masks, and COVID safety compliance officers.

“It’s up to the director to use the camera in a creative way to recreate a rich aesthetic when we have much less to work with,” she explained. She noted that it has been challenging to work around these new procedures. “I had to go back a little bit to see the style we had before.”

NCIS: Los Angeles Season 13 premieres on October 10 at 9 PM ET.
