On Wednesday (October 20th), NCIS: New Orleans alum Lucas Black took to his social media accounts to share a special tribute to his wife, Maggie O’Brien on her birthday.
“I love my wife and celebrating her birthday, especially since it’s at pebble. Hahahahaha. I thank God He brought us together,” the former NCIS: New Orleans star shared in the post.
The NCIS: New Orleans alum and Maggie got married in 2010. The couple has three children. Last month, Black shared some snapshots of his family. He wrote that he and his wife are grateful that they partnered with God to create three of His children. “They are learning extremely fast thanks to their momma and we are excited about what God is doing. We are loving the parental role and guiding [our] children to hopefully be warriors in Christ.”
The NCIS: New Orleans alum also wrote that he and his wife are amazed at what God has done. “All the glory to God to his grace and mercy over our relationship and lives. We cannot and will not do it without HIm. Thank you Jesus.”
‘NCIS: New Orleans’ Alum Opens Up About His Marriage
During a November 2020 interview with The Marriage Adventure podcast, NCIS: New Orleans alum Lucas Black and his wife opened up about their marriage and careers. During the interview, Maggie says that Black is not what people would consider a “stereotypical” celebrity. “He’s confident, but he’s not someone you think of as a diva that you have to pet and boost their ego all the time.”
The former NCIS: New Orleans star’s wife also said that Black is an honorable man and she believes he portrays himself as a Christian and wants that to be seen and understood by others. “So I don’t want to do anything to jeopardize that or make our family look bad. And I don’t think that’s phony. It’s nice to have little accountability.”
When it comes to loyalty, the NCIS: New Orleans alum’s wife describes her husband as being very loyal and dedicated to being a husband. Black said, “I’m so thankful she felt loved and trusted and valued and felt like I was faithful to her.”
While also speaking about his faith, the NCIS: New Orleans star said that his faith is received with respect and really well for the most part. “I think a lot of times, we can be afraid to express our faith or share it because we think we might lose our job,” he explained. “Or there might be some conflict there or conflict of interest because this is affecting the storyline or the project.”
