‘NCIS: New Orleans’ Star Lucas Black Gets Outside with Son: ‘We Don’t Play Video Games’

When it comes to staying active, then expect to see “NCIS: New Orleans” star Lucas Black getting out into the great outdoors in some way.

Black, who played Christopher LaSalle on the former CBS crime drama, took to Instagram in its Instagram Stories section where he posted a photo of him and his son. They were out on the golf course. Black wrote, “We don’t play video games. We get outside.”

“NCIS: New Orleans” was dropped from the CBS lineup after seven seasons. Scott Bakula starred in the “NCIS” spinoff as Dwayne “King” Cassius Pride. The show’s last original episode aired on May 23, 2021.

‘NCIS: New Orleans’ Star Takes Time to Enjoy the Great Outdoors

But let’s get back to Black and being outdoors. That’s something anyone who considers themselves as an Outsider can truly appreciate.

Instead of mindlessly playing video games until your hands develop carpal tunnel syndrome, why not go outside and enjoy some fresh air?

“NCIS: New Orleans” star Black even is taking his own child outside and enjoying a round of golf. Who knows? You might enjoy taking a spin around your local lake. Maybe you want to go for a long run and break a sweat. Maybe you want to sit along a riverbank or off a jetty and catch fish.

This is part of the mentality of an Outsider. It takes all kinds to create a string between adventure, hard work, traditional values, and new experiences.

Black’s Story Reflects What Might Be an Outsider Mentality

There are many stories, much like Black’s, where everyday Americans are simply living their best lives. It’s done through culture, lifestyle, comedy, music, and a whole lot more.

Outsiders can relate to stories filled with both inspiration and entertainment. They are the stories that richly develop within the soul and heart of people. Plus, these stories can be found without any need to stir the pot.

This “NCIS: New Orleans” star simply reflects what an Outsider mentality might look like to him. Like we noted earlier, it could be anything that takes you beyond the couch and living room.

What stirs your heart and soul? Outsiders follow their intuitions and go for it. The stories are plentiful and don’t have to involve television and movie stars, either. They lie right at the feet of Americans all over the place.

Black probably knows that getting outside beyond the doors of his home can make a difference. Even his statement about not playing video games is making that point very clear. You also can take yourself beyond the indoor life and get outdoors, too.

It does not matter what you do, though. Becoming an Outsider can mean simply finding what makes you happy and following that in your life.
