‘NCIS’: Some Fans Question How Trustworthy Ziva David Is

by Jonathan Howard

Despite leaving in season 10, fans of NCIS are still questioning how trustworthy Special Agent Ziva David really is. Although fans generally love Ziva, there are some that are suspicious about the agent who has since moved to Israel. While Gibbs seemed to have faith in his agent, there were times her loyalty was tested.

Over on Reddit, u/azulamazing posed the question of whether a non-US citizen should be trusted with security clearances. Agent Ziva proved to be a good agent on NCIS. Throughout the series, she came to the rescue many times. As with every character, she is flawed. So, if fans want to question the character, let them. It is all in good fun anyway.

One of the most dramatic moments in the series happened when Ziva’s brother was discovered to be known terrorist Ari Haswari. Then, there was the former Mossad agent and comrade of Ziva’s, Michael Rivkin. In the end, the agent ended up killing her brother and was found to have no involvement with Rivkin.

However, that didn’t stop u/azulamazing from saying, “The system would not allow her to be on the team.” Pretty harsh words for such a beloved agent on the show. Ziva was featured on 10 seasons of NCIS there was plenty of drama. With a background fighting for Mossad, Ziva had great experience and hand-to-hand combat skills.

By the time her tenure came to an end, Ziva along with Special Agents Anthony DiNozzo and Timothy McGee resigned to protect Gibbs’ position. It was a pivotal moment for the series and changed the direction of the entire show.

‘NCIS’ Star Has Been Absent from Social Media

Meanwhile in more recent NCIS news, current star, Wilmer Valderrama had been absent from social media. The two-week absence happened as a result of multiple factors. On top of being a dad, Valderrama looks to be working on other projects. Perhaps one related to NCIS.

However, when he isn’t changing diapers and working on the next big thing, he is growing his podcast. The podcast has focused on essential workers and is called Essential Voices. The iHeart Radio podcast has been doing great work raising the voices of those that keep us going. As for being a dad, the NCIS star has a catalog of work his children can watch.

“I think I’m going to introduce her [Nakano his daughter] to Handy Manny first. If you remember, I did Handy Manny on the Disney Channel for a long time, and it was an amazing show – really funny. So I think that will be the first thing I introduce her to will be Handy Manny.” Later on, maybe she can watch That 70’s Show, and let’s not forget Yo Momma on MTV. The NCIS star has a wide range.
