Call it NCIS meets Law & Order: Organized Crime relaxing on the weekend.
NCIS star Wilmer Valderrama posted a photo to Instagram that featured himself with Dylan McDermott from Law & Order: Organized Crime and Frank Roberts, who is with New York EDITION hotel. The three appear to be in the West Hollywood EDITION.
The NCIS star captioned the photo of the three “Compadre Saturdays, #TwoDecadesLater.”
About two decades ago, the two TV stars appeared in the movie Party Monster. Check out this old-school photo from an event at Sundance Film Festival in 2003.
They’ve Got Jokes: NCIS Star and McDermott Joke About Album
The post started some jokes between the three, who kept peppering the post with replies.
“Wait (until) we drop our album, bro,” wrote McDermott, who plays gangster Richard Wheatley on Law & Order: Organized Crime.
Valderrama, who portrays Nick Torres on NCIS, quipped “Album drops Swim SUIT week 2022.”
Jonathan Tucker, who starred on the NBC sci-fi series Debris, even jumped in the conversation with an emphatic yes.
This isn’t the first time the handsome stars have appeared together in photos. Their shows aren’t even on the same network. NCIS is the bedrock of CBS, while Law & Order: Organized Crime was one of the newest shows on NBC this spring.
This time two years ago, Valderrama and McDermott were together in Miami. They took a beach day, which was well documented by the paparazzo. Valderrama brought then-new girlfriend Amanda Pacheco. The couple got engaged in January 2020. The couple had their first child, a baby girl, in February. The NCIS star and Pacheco issued a joint statement announcing baby Nakano’s birth:
“Life is an ever evolving journey, and for all those times when our path needs a light.. often angels are sent to show us the way and that we can be more … straight out of heaven we welcome our first daughter.”
Valderrama Is Quite Busy Outside His CBS Show
Besides relaxing with friends, Valderrama also is doing some stuff that’s not related to his role on NCIS.
His production company, WV Entertainment, picked up the option for the Aztec fantasy book Aztlan. The plan is to turn it into a TV series, with Valderrama as executive producer. This should leave plenty of time for Valderrama to portray Nick Torres. NCIS returns for its 19th season, Sept. 20, and Torres will have a significant role. With Gibbs actor Mark Harmon limiting his appearances on NCIS this season, fans probably want to see more of Torres.
Last week, Valderrama posted a snap of his dressing room to promote NCIS season 19.
And the day that CBS announced his show’s premiere date, Valderrama promised some spicy NCIS episodes. He posted on social media:
“You’ve been warned. See you MONDAY NIGHTS at 9pm! You know what 9pm means?… We get to be provocatively dangerous. #NCIS.”
But even with a busy career and family life, there’s always time to relax with your guy friends.
