NCIS star Wilmer Valderamma just posted a selfie while wearing a mask. He included a motivational caption about hard work. Valderamma became well known through his role as Fez on That 70s Show. Now, he portrays Nick Torres on NCIS.
“No inner voice or external distortion will derail the outcome of your hard work, I know WHY I get up at 4am… I KNOW where and WHO I will be. And most importantly in success or failure, live with integrity and self-respect as the fundamental values of any lesson or achievement,” the caption said. While he posted the photo last night, it makes perfect Monday morning motivation.
Fans were quick to thank Valderrama for the motivational words.
“Speaking the truth!” one fan wrote. “for me waking up at 6 am every morning making the most of the days you inspire me so much and give me so much self-belief in myself!!”
“You really have been one of my inspirations,” another fan said.
Valderrama has been on NCIS since 2016. Some fans have loved his portrayal as agent Torres, while others question how he was written and wonder if the character was a replacement for Tony Dinozzo.
Torres recently had quite the season finale. Torres finally ended the will-they-wont-they question between himself and Agent Bishop. The two shared a kiss right before agent Bishop departed the series for good.
But NCIS isn’t the only project Valderrama has been working on lately.
The ‘NCIS’ Actor has Landed Major Voice Acting Roles
The NCIS actor also has quite the presence as a voice actor. He was recently featured on the 2020 Disney film Onward, where he played Gaxton. He’s also voice acting for an upcoming Netflix animated film, Dog Gone Trouble. The film centers around a spoiled dog who has to learn how to live on the streets.
He also had an important role in Charming, where he starred alongside Demi Lovato. He played the titular prince charming. The film finds three princesses all engaged to the same man, Charming. The film also features prominent celebrities such as Sia, Avril Lavigne, Ashley Tisdale, John Cleese, and Tom Kenny.
Another prominent voice acting role for Valderrama was probably the opposite of the work he’s doing on NCIS. Valderamma starred as Manny on Handy Manny, an educational tv show for young children centering around a repairman and his talking tools.
His extensive background in a comedic role in That 70s Show, a dramatic role on NCIS, and his voice role on Handy Manny truly showcases the actor’s incredible range as well as the hard-working attitude he talked about on Instagram. It’s hard to say what aside from NCIS Valderrama will do next, but it’s safe to say you can expect the unexpected.
