Could Wilmer Valderrama be foreshadowing the exit of his “NCIS” character Special Agent Torres?

The actor has been portraying his fan-favorite character since season 14 of the long-running crime drama. He is one of the last remaining team members that has been on the show the longest. Others are Sean Murray as McGee, Brian Dietzen as Dr. Jimmy Palmer, and Rocky Carroll as “NCIS” Director Vance.

Wilmer Valderrama Posts Cryptic Video

Now, fans are concerned that Valderrama’s character may soon be leaving the program as well. He recently posted a video on Instagram captioned, “Dark times ahead for Special Agent Torres.”

In the video, he is staring straight ahead at the camera as he is covered in blood and lacerations. The song “Dark Times” by The Weeknd and Ed Sheeran is playing in the background. In the end, he places his finger over his lips in the classic “shh” motion.

The cryptic post has left fans of “NCIS” spiraling over possibly losing the pivotal character. Fans won’t find out until November 29 what the fate of his character is.

The official “NCIS” account also reacted to the post by replying with a set of eye-looking emojis. One fan begged for Valderrama to stick around by writing, “Just please don’t leave the show!!! Love our Torres [love heart emoji].” Another person also wrote, “This is setting you up to leave the show to is it.”

While fans loved the sneak peek during the hiatus, they couldn’t hold back the fear of what’s to come. “Dude!!! As long as you don’t leave too I’m good. Torres is a bad ass and you should see the other guy!!”

Could Valderrama Leave ‘NCIS?’

This isn’t the first time rumors have swirled regarding Wilmer Valderrama possibly leaving “NCIS.”

He is currently in the process of developing a new comedy for CBS called “Mexican Beverly Hills.” He’s doing so with his own production company, WV Entertainment.

Valderrama shared the news on his social media by writing, “Erick, Aaron, Kaitlin all bases loaded.. let’s swing away… Another victory, for our Wilmer Valderrama family and I couldn’t be more proud of the heart that goes into everything we develop!”

Given his large involvement in this new series, fans are afraid he won’t have time to star in “NCIS.” Nothing has been confirmed related to a departure. After losing Gibbs this season, losing Agent Torres would be a huge blow for the program.

Before Gibbs, “NCIS” fans said goodbye to DiNozzo, Abby Sciuto, Kate, and Ziva over the course of the series. It’s no wonder fans are on high alert. Torres has also had a rough time recently. He had to say goodbye to love interest Agent Bishop and is also the most hesitant regarding the changes happening with the team.
