You know, it certainly does seem like Gibbs’ home on NCIS was a crime scene a hefty number of times, no? Well, if you have been catching up on previous seasons of the CBS drama and you caught yourself pondering about this very subject, we’ve got some great news for you.
You’re not alone.
No, fans of NCIS have taken to Reddit to ponder this very question. One commenter posted on the question, “Lol I’m not sure but my wife and I were thinking after last week how dangerous it is to be related to Mcgee… his dad’s assistant murdered someone, his wife got blown up, there were multiple murders in his house, his sister was wanted for murder, his grandmother was wrapped up in a murder, and now this week his mother in laws hook up was killed and her house was blown up. Like just stay away from that guy.”
The Reddit user makes a good point there, but what say you, Outsiders?
Another user gave a more succinct answer on the subject where he said, “Nearly once a season so it has to be in the 10s . Maybe double that if you count harboring wanted persons of interests. The first probably would be Ziva killing Ari (although that might not be public knowledge).”
Well, there you have it. We’re looking at a double-digit crime scene number it looks like.
Gary Cole Replaces Mark Harmon on ‘NCIS’
Gary Cole had big shoes to fill when he took over a legend like Mark Harmon on NCIS. It was always going to take time both for Cole and the fans to get comfortable with the change. You can’t force it. Gibbs was a legend. However, it is not as Parker is not an interesting replacement for Gibbs. He’s just different. While Gibbs was a rouge figure, Parker does not walk that fine line. Cole said,”Parker isn’t overly chatty, but he is more verbal.”
He continues, “He’s not as old school; he tries to get his hands on new tech gadgets and impress everybody. He’s trying to fit in with the rest of the team. Although he may be reluctant to voice it, he admires that Gibbs breaks rules. Parker bends them. We’ll see if it gets to the point of breaking.”
It’s interesting Cole does not dismiss the chance that Parker evolves to become more like Gibbs, but he is not there yet. He needs to be around the team for a while. Fans have to learn more about him, who he is, and what he is about. That takes time and Cole has time to figure it out with Parker as NCIS continues to roll along on CBS.
