‘Ozark’ Final Season Teaser Trailer, First Images Released by Netflix

Jason Bateman and the rest of the cast of “Ozark” are coming back for one last season of the popular Netflix drama. The popular action actor stars alongside Laura Linney, Julia Garner, and Charlie Tahan in the series.

New images and a teaser has been released by the streaming platform. They showcase the Byrde family’s graphic return to the screen. “No ending is reached by accident,” the teaser reads at one point.

New Teaser Videos and Photos of ‘Ozark’ Season

Also during the new video and photos, according to Deadline, we hear as Jason Bateman’s character says the cryptic line, “Human beings make decisions, they commit acts and that makes things happen. It creates a snowball effect – cause other people to make decisions. The cycle continues and the snowball keeps rolling.”

The Byrde family has already proven to not be the most “regular” family on TV. The clip shows as Wendy and Marty are soaked in someone’s blood. They then share a sweet moment with Ruth and Wyatt.

The family originally lived a suburban lifestyle in Chicago. However, they decided to do a full 180 and take on jobs in a criminal enterprise in the Missouri Ozarks. Fans of the series can tune into the last season on January 21, 2022. Chris Mundy is the showrunner, writer, and executive producer of “Ozark.”

For those who haven’t watched the show yet, all past seasons are available to watch on Netflix.

Working Alongside Jason Bateman

Jason Bateman is a huge Hollywood actor that made the transition to TV with Ozark. He is known for roles in movies like “Game Night,” “Horrible Bosses,” “Identity Thief,” and “The Switch.”

His fellow co-stars, specifically Skylar Gaertner, who plays Jonah Byrde in the series, reflected on getting to act with Bateman.

“Every day is a masterclass when you’re lucky enough to be surrounded by so many talented people and it’s amazing to see how everyone brings something different to the table. Jason has such a sense of ease in his acting that it often feels as if he isn’t acting at all. Laura somehow makes every single moment count for so much (sometimes without saying a word). And plenty of others have such flawless approaches to their characters that you can’t help but be drawn in. Being in that environment, I can only hope that I am absorbing some of their technique along the way,” Gaertner said, according to Starry Magazine.

For Bateman, “Ozark” has really been a game-changing role in his career. In a recent interview with IndieWire, he said that after the show ends he wants to pursue more directing in the future.

Fans of “Ozark” have helped to push him harder as an actor and creator. “It’s been very gratifying, and it fuels me to try to take even a bigger, more challenging swing on the next project,” he also said to the news outlet.
