Ozzy Osbourne just shared the perfect album to listen to through all this U.S. political turmoil. The rock singer shared the Spotify link to his 1988 album No Rest For The Wicked.
It is unknown whether the singer intended his tweet as a political statement or just taking a trip through memory lane. Osbourne has used the platform to share several of his merchandise from past tours. He’s also posted throwback photos of himself early in his career.
No Rest for the Wicked is the fifth studio album from Osbourne after he broke away from Black Sabbath. The singer first recorded the album in 1988 but remastered the album in 1995, and in 2002. Upon release, the album received critical acclaim and went gold and double platinum.
Ozzy Osbourne Has Spent the COVID-19 Pandemic at Home
Osbourne had planned to tour in North America in 2020 as part of his No More II Tours schedule. But the rockstar canceled the tour after suffering a neck injury. The singer had planned to seek treatment in Switzerland for his injury, but he has been at his home in the United Kingdom due to the COVID-19 lockdown.
Since then, he has rescheduled most of his tours to 2022. Osbourne plans to keep singing until he dies. But he doesn’t foresee a reunion with band Black Sabbath in the future. He described his bandmates as “brothers” but preferred to close the door to that point in his career. The group previously did a series of farewell shows in 2017.
“You know the time when I will retire? When I can hear them nail a lid on my box. And then I’ll f—ing do an encore. I’m the Prince of Darkness,” Osbourne told the Daily Mail. He plans to complete his tour once the pandemic is over.
