Fans got a look into the family life of popular comedian Rosie O’Donnell recently.
By the looks of it, O’Donnell has been living it up and enjoying some really special family time with her children. The 59-year-old actress posted a photo on Instagram in which her family is adorably bunched together.
Her 8-year-old daughter, Dakota, and 21-year-old son, Blake, as well as Blake’s girlfriend, are all posing in the family picture. She captioned the photos with, “We r family.”
O’Donnell posted three different photos. One is an adorable snapshot of Blake with his arm around his little sister. The other shows Blake and his girlfriend wearing their masks and out in public. The last is the entire squad all together.
Many fans were quick to share their love for the shared pictures. One user wrote, “Wow, Blake is so grown!! He’s got us all feeling our age!!”
The O’Donnell Kids
Rosie O’Donnell is the proud mom of five different kids. Rosie and her first wife, Kelli Carpenter, adopted their son Parker in May 1995. He is a Marine. Her second daughter is Chelsea O’Donnell. Apparently, the two have had a difficult relationship and lost touch when Chelsea was 18. However, the two reconciled when Rosie had her very first grandchild, Skylar Rose.
Kelli and Rosie’s fourth child is Vivienne O’Donnell. From what social media shows, Rosie and Vivienne have a very close-knit relationship. They’ve taken part in plenty of TikTok dance routines over the last few months to suggest the relationship is quite playful.
Rosie O’Donnell only had one kid with her last wife, Michelle Rounds. Her name is Dakota O’Donnell and she also seems rather close to her mother. Her youngest three kids lived at home with her and the comedian once detailed what life was like during COVID-19 with the kids locked in.
“She’s like Velcro—I can’t get her off of me. She’s like, ‘This is great, not having to go to school and getting to play with you all the time, Mommy,'” O’Donnell said on “Late Night with Seth Meyers.” Luckily, the family also has their adorable Australian shepherd puppy named Ziggy to keep them company.

About 25 years ago, Rosie O’Donnell’s talk show, “The Rosie O’Donnell Show” premiered. She told People that many have asked the comedian and TV personality to bring back this popular talk show.
O’Donnell is afraid that the timing just isn’t right anymore, however.
“I feel like for me, it was really of a time. The time to start a new show for TV now with the social delivery platforms that they have is not a 60-year-old woman. You have to be younger and have the fight in you and be on the cutting edge. I read PEOPLE and I half the time don’t know who’s in it. Imagine the stories that you promote as the big story, like so-and-so and so-and-so had a baby. I’m like, ‘What? Who? From where?’ So I don’t think that I would do it again,” O’Donnell said to People.
It seems like the show will likely stay in the past.
